About the Kent Bat Group

Kent Bat Group home

The Kent Bat Group (KBG) was formed in 1983 to help conserve the county's bats. We aim to promote awareness of bats, and take action to conserve them.

About KBG

What we do

Members of the KBG make an annual donation towards bat conservation in Kent. We hold indoor meetings during the winter (we are all too busy doing surveys in the summer!) at the Kent Wildlife Trust's headquarters at Tyland Barn, near Maidstone. Members also receive a newsletter 4 times a year which keeps members up-to-date on what's happening the bat world.
